Are you stressed out? Do you need a break? Why not cut yourself off from as much external stimuli as possible? Stop eating. Turn off the music. Ignore your phone, laptop, and other tech devices. Stop talking. Avoid people, even eye contact. Do this for 24 hours and see how much better you feel!
Some people call it dopamine fasting. (At least Silicon Valley techies do.) Others call it a modern spin on Vipassana meditation, one of the two core tenets of Buddhist meditation, which dates back more than 2,500 years. Whatever you call it and whether or not it is backed by science, maybe it is a good things to "turn the world off" for a while.
