Fellow cat lovers, rejoice! There’s yet another reason cats are purrfect human companions. It turns out that a drug used to treat a SARS-related disease in cats may be able to help us, too.
Classified as a protease inhibitor, the drug works by disabling certain viruses' ability to replicate. Researchers believe it may affect COVID-19 in humans this way, too.
