According to the World Health Organization, obesity is [on the rise](http://www.euro.who.int/en/health-topics/noncommunicable-diseases/obesity/data-and-statistics) around the world.

Among European countries concerned by a rising obesity rate is Spain, where more than half of the population aged 25-64 is overweight or obese. Obesity is now such a common occurrence in the Spanish population that it’s become one of Spain’s major health battles.
