When you're in quarantine, it can be hard not to feel disconnected from the world. Fortunately, there are many ways to fight this. Here's one that might help.
Great Big Story recently released a compilation of segments filmed by quarantined contributors around the globe, from a charming woman in lockdown with her cat in Rome, to a tired but trying-to-be-optimistic mom quarantined with her husband and young son in Iran. Other participants include young hipster couples, families with adult children, and at-risk seniors.
Over the course of about 18 minutes, we see so many facets of life in quarantine, from working with a significant other in the same room (even at the same table), to the joy of having a pet to keep you company, to kind gestures from neighbors. There are many laughs and smiles, but also tears and frustration, which is part of the truth of this experience, as well.
Although there are worse fates, quarantine is hard. But watching this film might make you feel a little less alone. You can watch it here.
