In these times, it’s easy to feel helpless and overwhelmed. We’re told to stay inside our homes as much as possible; essentially, by doing “nothing”, we’re supposed to be helping by keeping COVID numbers down. But what if you want to do more?
A recent article reveals a pandemic-related problem that most of us might never have thought of: The US blood supply is becoming dangerously low.
This is because most blood drives and pop-up donation centers haven’t been operating, due to pandemic-related restrictions. Now, many US hospitals are becoming concerned that they don’t have enough blood.

Read on to learn more about the US blood supply shortage and what we can do about it.
